Tours and Excursions

Two hour hike

We’ll take you to a nearby trail in the surrounding jungle, where one of our family members will be your guide on this excursion. This is a fairly strenuous hike, with some up/down hiking and definitely not a “stroll in the park”.

Green Acres Chocolate Farm

This is a highly recommended half day activity right across the Bay from us.  Green Acres is a beautiful cocoa farm and tropical botanical garden located on the mainland at the edge of the jungle.

Red Frog Beach

We arrive on the bay side of Bastimentos Island. The beach is about a 15 minute walk amongst trees, flowers and ponds that, similar to everywhere else on these islands, are full of birds, amphibians and animals that entertain with their colors and sounds.

Bat Cave and Red Frog Beach

We take you to Bahia Honda on the Island of Bastimentos. You will embark on a traditional wooden dugout "cayuca" and a local guide will paddle you up a winding creek. Along the way you’re surrounded by a mangrove forest with dozens of bird species along with caimans, sloths and other animals.

Snorkel at the Secret Spot

This is a small but very colorful and diverse area to snorkel.  Imagine a Persian carpet submerged under water, whose intricate designs are made up of many different types of corals, colorful sponges and sea life.

Snorkel at Coral Key

Another amazing spot comprised of many different coral formations filled with colorful sponges and fish.

Zapatilla Island

The Zapatilla islands have the most beautiful white sandy beaches in all of Bocas. With the exception of holidays, few people visit Zapatilla #2 since it is further away than Zapatilla #1.  This is exactly why we prefer it as you can enjoy the surf and beach with fewer visitors.

Zip Line

The Bastimentos Sky Zipline Canopy Tour is the only zipline in Bocas del Toro.  Elevated on the island hilltops of Isla Bastimentos, you will discover unique island ecology by soaring through the rainforest canopy. This Panama canopy tour includes:

San San Pond Sak – view the Manatees

A trip to this humedal (wetlands) is a full day eco-adventure.   Typically the goal and highlight of this journey is to see the Manatees, but you’ll encounter other abundant wildlife.  We begin early, departing off our dock around 7AM for a boat trip to Almirante.  Once there, you’ll ride in a cab past the town of Changuinola to this protected a

Starfish Beach

Starfish Beach at Boca del Drago is clearly one of the most beautiful and swimmable beaches in the Bocas area.  Located on the northwestern side of Isla Colon, the water is clear, the sand is gentle and there are starfish (just don't pickup or handle them please!).   With restaurants, chairs to enjoy and picturesque views of the mainland, this i

Indigenous Village

There are various indigenous villages in the area who welcome visitors. We take our guests to visit a nearby family if they are interested in discovering the local culture. You can get an insight on their everyday life and art of their handicraft.

Horseback Riding

We can arrange horseback riding tours, with breathtaking vistas of the Caribbean and jungle access as well.
